Collaborative Design and Development (Collab) is an Architectural firm which is focused on the creation of project specific joint ventures (JV) with contractors, designers and consultants for individual client or real estate development projects.
Successful projects are the result of team effort and it is our belief that the power of collaboration drives innovation and success. Stewardship of the collaborative process is what Collab is about.
Our Mission is to create project specific joint ventures which:
Simplifies the building process for owners and investors by providing a single contract for project management, architectural design and construction.
Is flexible and allows for project requirements to determine JV team members and team size.
Has transparency and clarity with expectations, roles and responsibilities.
Aligns design, quality, and cost early in the process.
Establishes accountability for the JV team as a single entity and eliminates the typical building industry effort of transferring risk and liability between individual entities.

My work in resort-based architecture has been a broad experience including custom single-family residences, multi-family residences, employee housing, resort clubs, and hotels. Its an experience that has provided an insight to designing and building in resort communities.
